Disney California Adventure’s new attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout, will feature six rescue scenarios and some awesome music!
The attraction’s six random scenarios were created by Disney Imagineers and synchronizes the attraction’s “ascend-and-drop” with songs from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.
Some of the songs from the ride’s “mix tape” include: Hit Me With Your Best Shot (Pat Benatar), Give Up The Funk (Parliament), Born To Be Wild (Steppenwolf), I Want You Back (Jackson 5), Free Ride (The Edgar Winters Group), and Burning Love (Elvis).
The songs will accompany different versions of the escape scenario and will also include “corresponding ride profile and visuals.”
The new attraction also has a new theme song for The Collector’s Fortress lobby and office scenes. The music was composed by Tyler Bates who was the composer for Guardians of the Galaxy.
Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT opens May 27.
