Our friends at the Disney Food Blog have shared some new details about the Be Our Guest Restaurant and Gaston’s Tavern that will be opening in the New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom park.
We already know that Be Our Guest will be open in time for the holidays, and that it will serve a menu devoted to modern twists on classic French dishes. We’ve also discovered that guests will be able to feast their eyes as well as their stomachs with amazing artwork and decor that will adorn the three dining rooms, such as a portrait of the Beast himself.
As for Gaston’s Tavern, few details have emerged regarding this counter service restaurant. The Disney Food Blog, however, did share a portrait of Gaston we will be able to see in the restaurant, just as it appears in concept art drawings that have surfaced. The costumes for cast members working in Gaston’s Tavern look very similar to Gaston’s outfit, as well.
