The Oriental Land Company and Disney have announced a new Finding Nemo attraction is coming to Tokyo DisneySea in 2017.
The new attraction will be based on the Disney/Pixar hit Finding Nemo and its 2016 sequel Finding Dory.
On the attraction guests will board a submarine that “shrinks” to fish size. The ride will use a system that blends visuals from the films with motion.
The attraction is an underwater experience that will allow guests to view the ocean floor just like Nemo and friends do. Characters from both films will also be part of the attraction’s visuals.
Disney and Oriental Land Company have worked together over the years to make Tokyo Disney Resort one of the most popular destinations in Japan. They’ll be working with production teams from Finding Dory to create visual images for the new attraction.
