A new animated series, Puppy Dog Pals, is set to debut on Disney Channel on April 14.
The new series was created by comedian Harland Williams and follows two pug brothers, Bingo and Rolly, with thrill-seeking appetites. Their adventures take them through their neighborhood and around the world.
The pugs’ owner Bob, his cat Hissy, and a “loveable robot” named A.R.F. are also part of the adventures in the show.
Each episode of Puppy Dog Pals will feature two 11-minute stories that “showcase Bingo and Rolly’s similarities and differences while demonstrating positive lessons about friendship, problem-solving, collaboration, creativity and adventure.”
Guest stars on the show include: Huey Lewis as Bulworth the junkyard dog; Patrick Warburton as Captain Dog; Jack McBrayer as Hedgie the hedgehog; Yvette Nicole Brown as Daisy, a kind German Shepard; Bob Uekcer; Cheri Oteri; Mo Collins; and Tress MacNeille.
Series regulars include: Issac Ryan Brown, Sam Lavagnino, Tom Kenny, and Jessica DiCicco.
