D23 has announced more special guests for D23 Destination D: Attraction Rewind.
The roster includes Disney Legends, Imagineers, and others who are coming together to celebrate fan favorites including Adventure Thru Inner Space, If You Had Wings, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
The event includes more than a dozen panels and presentations in addition to a special exhibit from the Walt Disney Archives, Pleasure Island: Rewind, and a pop-up shop from Mickey’s of Glendale, the Walt Disney Imagineering store.
Disney Legends Charlie Ridgway, Ron Logan, Bill Sullivan, Marty Sklar, Bob Gurr, and Alice Davies are scheduled to attend. Joining them are current Walt Disney Imagineers Gary Landrum who archives the history and stories of Walt Disney Imagineering; Jason Grandt; Dave Minichiello, whose art direction guided the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train; and Pam Rawlins whose projects include Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Other guests include Walt Disney Archives Director Becky Cline, and Disney and World’s Fair historians Bill Cotter, Stacia Martin, and Michael Kelley.
D23 Destination D takes place at the convention center at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Tickets are currently available for D23 Gold and Silver Members at $190 each, and D23 Free members can purchase tickets for $250 each.
The event is presented by H2O Plus and is scheduled to take place November 22 and 23 at the Walt Disney World Resort.
