Disney’s Animal Kingdom is celebrating its 20th anniversary this weekend and even more commemorative merchandise has been released.
The park is celebrating its anniversary from April 22 through May 5 with an extended Party for the Planet, and guests can pick up special “I Was There” merchandise during the celebration.
The merchandise collection includes tees for kids and adults, a hat, a tote bag, and collectible pins.
Annual Passholders will find two exclusive shirts – a Party for the Planet T-shirt and a tank top.
Other new items include a new interactive banshee from Pandora – The World of Avatar, new Dooney & Bourke handbags featuring an animal print, jewelry from PANDORA, and a commemorative 20th Anniversary baseball hat presented in a decorative box.
Guests at the Animal Kingdom can also meet Disney Imagineer Joe Rohde who created a special-edition print for the park’s anniversary. He will be signing prints on April 22 from 1-4 p.m. at Discovery Trading Company.
The commemorative merchandise can be found on April 22 is Discovery Trading Company, and the banshee will be available in Windtraders at Pandora – The World of Avatar. Additional items including the Dooney & Bourke purses will also be available online.
