A few days ago, we let you know about Disney’s Monstrous Summer promotion, which will bring the Monsters University characters to the Disney Parks with some new enhancements. Now, we have some more details to share about these new additions, including some new concept art of what to expect.
As we already announced, Walt Disney World guests will get to enjoy an updated version of Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor this summer, with updated comedic bits that poke fun at monsters’ alma mater. Disneyland Resort guests will get a new addition as well, however, as over at Disney California Adventure, guests will be able to see Mike and Sully each day as they lead the Pixar Play Parade on a brand-new float.
In addition, guests on both coasts will be able to meet college-aged Mike and Sully in all-new collegiate settings. In Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World, the existing Monsters Inc. meet and greet in the park’s Backlot will become the Monsters University Student Union, complete with a view of the university’s campus. In Disney California Adventure, Mike and Sully will be greeting guests at Hollywood Land, which will be themed to the area right outside the university’s dorms.
