The third annual Great Irish Hooley at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant happens Labor Day weekend and it’s full of live music, step dancing, and great food.
The music starts August 29 at 4 p.m. and again at noon on August 30 and runs through Monday, September 1.
The lineup for this year’s Hooley includes: Scythian, The Raglan Rebels, Drops of Green, The Brayzen Heads, and The West Coast Trio.
The Hooley also features free dance workshops all weekend – ‘From Our Roots to Riverdance’ – led by Ronan McCormack from the original cast of Riverdance. The Raglan Road Dancers will also be performing ceili, which is a precursor to line dancing.
Guests attending the Great Irish Hooley can also enjoy traditional Irish food at Raglan Road including beer-battered fish and chips and shepherd’s pie.
Raglan Road is hosting a Knight’s Brunch on August 30 at 8:30 a.m. during the University of Central Florida-Penn State Croke Park Classic which takes place in Dublin, Ireland. The menu includes a full Irish breakfast, smoked salmon omelette, pancakes, and of course Bloody Marys and Guinness on tap.
