The new Disney XD animated series Milo Murphy’s Law is set to premiere on October 3.
The title role – Milo Murphy – is voiced by Grammy Award-winning recording artist “Weird Al” Yankovic.
The series follows the adventures of 13-year-old Milo Murphy, who just happens to be the (fictional) great-great-great-great grandson of the Murphy’s Law namesake. With Milo, if something can go wrong it will go wrong.
Milo was born with Extreme Hereditary Murphy’s Law condition, a trait that has affected all the men in the Murphy family for generations. But, Milo is prepared for every possibility “armed with knowledge, a backpack of supplies, and an endless sense of optimism and enthusiasm that can turn any catastrophe into an adventure.”
Each episode features two 11-minute stories starring Milo and his best friends Zack and Melissa.
Other voice actors on the show include Sabrina Carpenter, MeKai Curtis, Ming-Na Wen, Christian Slater, Vanessa Williams, Sarah Chalke, and more.
Milo Murphy’s Law was created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh of Phineas and Ferb.
