The Mermaids of Whitecap Bay, from the film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, have made their debut at the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Walt Disney World Resort.
Keep your eye out early on during the attraction’s grotto scene – you’ll definitely spot a mermaid skeleton, but if you’re lucky you’ll even catch a glimpse of them swimming alongside your boat. Additionally, you’ll hear a mermaid call to you with her siren song just before you drop down into the pirate battle scene. Finally, new rockwork and props have been added to the Dead Man’s Cove scene.
