The 2016 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend takes place at the Walt Disney World Resort February 18-21 and Disney has released a preview of the race merchandise.
The commemorative items include long and short-sleeve shirts for the weekend, the Princess Half Marathon, and the Glass Slipper Challenge. Items include “I Did It” shirts, drinkware, Bondi Bands, Sweaty Bands, pins, car magnets, and much more.
Car magnets are also available for those participating in the Disney Princess 5K and the Disney Princess Enchanted 10K.
New this is the ‘Run Princess Run’ artwork that is featured on apparel and accessories plus the new ‘Run Like the Princess You Are’ artwork that features “stylized buildings” of Disney Princesses.
A new collection of Dooney & Bourke handbags is also available during the race weekend and this year’s design features colorful images of the Disney Princesses.
And new this year is the ‘Glitter and Go’ makeover at the HP Field House at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The package includes a hair twist, light makeup, shimmering lip gloss, a face gem, and a light-up princess tiara.
Reservations for this package will be taken on a walk-in basis for guests ages 3 and older from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday. The price is $19.95 plus tax.
Merchandise is available at the runDisney Health and Fitness Expo on February 18 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., February 19 from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., and February 20 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
