Marvel Studios has launched a new charitable initiative that is focused on “brining help and hope to kids around the world.”
To celebrate the launch Marvel fans are invited to post photos online to unlock donations for Save the Children. The donations will help provide much-needed learning materials for kids in Nepal, Haiti, and United States.
From now until December 31, Marvel is donating $5 to Save the Children for every fan that uploads a photo of themselves in their favorite Marvel hero pose. The donations will total up to $1 million.
Marvel has teamed with Fotition, a new social change platform, to create the website MarvelStudiosHeroAct.com. The fans can upload photos there, and then post the photos to the Hero Acts gallery and other social media channels.
Hashtags are #marvelstudios and #heroacts.
