Marvel has created a special fold-out comic poster that will be distributed to almost 450 hospitals around the country.
Disney and Child Life Council have worked together since 2014 to provide these fold-out comic posters to be included in care packages for the hospitals. The comics have starred Iron Man and Captain America in the past.
This year’s comic features the Guardians of the Galaxy in a tale about friendship, camaraderie, and relying on others when in need of help. Marvel wanted to show that there’s no shame in needing help from friends or family.
The Guardians were chosen for the story because they’re a unique group of friends who rely on each other for help in many situations.
