If you can’t wait for the upcoming Muppets film to be reunited with your favorite characters, then mark your calendars for the release of Marvel and Disney Publishing’s Disney•Muppets Presents: Meet the Muppets, a gigantic comic featuring Kermit, Fozzy, Miss Piggy, Gonzo and the rest of the beloved Muppets gang.
The comic will feature 96 pages with stories from writer/artist Roger Langridge, and will retail for $5.99. In the comic, the Muppets gang are planning to bring back their variety show with such popular sketches like Pigs in Space and Veterinarian’s Hospital. Other characters will have their own issues to contend with as well, such as Kermit missing the swamp; Fozzy revamping his standup act, and Scooter attempting to figure out once and for all what species Gonzo is!
