March is coming in like a lion at the Disneyland Resort with a full slate of merchandise events planned for the month.
On March 1 guests can stop by the WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney District to meet artists Jasmine Becket-Griffith, Noah, Kristin Tercek, and Gregg Visintainer from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Also on March 1 and 2, Jere Dean from Urban Octopus will be at WonderGround Gallery from 1-4 p.m. each day, and again from March 8-9, showcasing the latest artwork of Urban Octopus.
A new Ink & Paint Cel featuring Jiminy Cricket debuts March 5 at Disneyana. This is a limited edition cel – only 1,000 are available – and it comes in a variety of formats including unframed, framed, framed cel with postcard, and framed cel with postcard and pin.
Artists Bob Elias will be at Off the Page in Disney California Adventure Park on March 8 and 9 to meet fans and showcase some of his latest work inspired by beloved Disney characters. The meet and greet is scheduled for 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day.
Custom Letter Plaque artist Dave Avanzion will be at Disneyana on March 15 and 16 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. each day and guests can select their favorite Disneyland Resort attractions and icons to spell their names.
Also during the weekend of March 15 and 16, guests can visit WonderGround Gallery for a special olive oil tasting event from 1-4 p.m. each day. More details will be released soon at the Disney Parks Merchandise website.
Disney Trading Night is scheduled for March 28 from 5-8 p.m. in the Pacific Ballroom at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel.
And on March 29, fans of Ridley Pearson can meet the Kingdom Keepers author from 10 .m. until noon at Disneyana in the Disneyland theme park. Ridley will be signing copies of his latest book Kingdom Keepers VII: The Insider. Fans can find more details here.
