In the beginning of 2012, we told you that Epcot’s France Pavilion would be expanding – and our friends at the Disney Food Blog have shared with us some great news: Les Halles Bakery is finally open!
The new bakery has expanded quite a bit, and is much larger than the old one (that will become Glacier Ice Cream Parlor.) The updated space has a long queue area, digital menus and a decadent assortment of pastries that will definitely tempt your taste buds.
Speaking of the menu, Les Halles Bakery has an expanded menu selection featuring soups, sandwiches, salads, pastries and more. Some of the most intriguing selections include the lobster bisque, pumpkin soup and the pizza-like pissaladiere with Gruyere cheese, olives and tomatoes. Additionally, several cult-favorite menu items are still available, including the budget-friendly ham and cheese croissant, cheese plate and the napoleon.
Les Halles Bakery has also expanded their seating area and provided covered seating so guests can enjoy their meal in comfort.
Thanks to our friends at the Disney Food Blog for sharing such wonderful pictures – do they make you excited to head to the new bakery and experience it for yourself?
