The popular animated series, LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, is returning for a second season this summer on Disney XD.
“The series creators expertly deliver an equal amount of comedy and signature Star Wars adventure into their storytelling,” said Marc Buhaj, senior vice president, programming and general manager, Disney XD. “We’re looking forward to bringing our viewers a brand new season of galactic adventures with the Freemaker family throughout summer.”
So far in the series, the Freemaker family has found a new home with the Rebel fleet, which brings them face to face with the Imperial forces, Hutts, Sith Lords, and a hunter droid named M-OC. Rowan’s powers are growing and he has a vision of a ship that can save the Rebellion, and only he can build it.
Before the second season begins, fans will have a chance to catch up on the storyline thanks to five new animated shorts that debut on May 4 which is also a Star Wars fan “holiday” (May the 4th Be With You).
Fans who are attending the upcoming Star Wars Celebration in Orlando will have a chance to catch a sneak peek at the second season of the series.
