Kelly Osbourne is lending her voice to a new animated series set to air this summer on Disney XD, Disney Channel, and Disney Junior.
The series, The 7D, is set in the contemporary world of Jollywood and finds the Seven Dwarfs hard at work helping Queen Delightful (Leigh-Allyn Baker from Good Luck Charlie) keep her kingdom in order.
Osbourne will voice the character of Hildy Gloom, a novice witch who is plotting to overthrow the kingdom with her husband Grim (voiced by Jess Harnell of Sofia the First).
“I’m having a blast voicing Hildy, who I’ve now come to think of as my alter ego – she is my Sasha Fierce,” Osbourne said. “The role has taught me so much about acting – and Hildy’s a tough one to keep up with, so I wear workout clothes to recording sessions because I jump and move around to really bring her to life.”
The voice cast also includes Disney Legend Bill Farmer (the voice of Goofy) at Doc, Maurice LaMarche as Grumpy, Kevin Michael Richardson as Happy, Dee Bradley Baker (Phineas and Ferb) as Dopey, Scott Menville as Sneezy, Stephen Stanton (Doc McStuffins) as Sleepy, Billy West as Bashful, and Paul Rugg as Lord Starchbottom.
The 7D will air later this summer on Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney XD.
