Jay Leno and Whoopi Goldberg are joining Kelly Osbourne as members of the voice cast for Disney XD’s new animated series The 7D.
The new series is a contemporary and comedic take on the world of the Seven Dwarfs and it premieres on Disney XD on Monday, July 17 at 10 a.m. The series will premiere on Disney Channel and Disney Junior later this year.
Leno will be voicing the character of the Crystal Ball while Goldberg will lend her voice to the character of Magic Mirror.
The 7D is set in the storybook world of Jollywood and it follows the Seven Dwarfs as they work to maintain order in the kingdom. Grim and Hildy Gloom (Kelly Osbourne) stand in their way as the duo plots to dethrone the Queen.
The premiere episode, ‘Long, Long Winter/Itsy Bitsy Spider Fighters,’ features the 7D rescuing the villagers of Jollywood from an eternal winter spell cast by the Glooms, and they help Queen Delightful rid her castle of a spider.
Other stars lending their voices to The 7D include Leigh-Allyn Baker (Good Luck Charlie) as Queen Delightfu; Disney Legend Bill Farmer (Goofy) as Doc; Dee Bradley Baker (Phineas and Ferb) as Dopey; Stephen Stanton (Doc McStuffins) as Sleepy; Billy West (Ren & Stimpy) as Bashful and Paul Rugg (Animaniacs) as Lord Starchbottom.
