The popular preschool series Jake and the Neverland Pirates, which airs on Disney Channel, has been renewed for a third season.
In fact, the series is the top ranked series in cable among boys ages 2-5, and the best preschool show in Disney Channel history among total viewers and kids ages 2-5.
Says Nancy Kanter, Disney Junior original programming SVP and Disney Junior Worldwide General Manager:
The series is connecting with kids on every level and brings them closer to characters they’re already familiar with and introduces them to new, original characters they have made their friends … The storytelling is adventurous and heartfelt and embeds the kind of learning that we know is important to parents.
If the show wasn’t enough, Disney is cashing in on the popularity of Jake with a new toy line, which debuted at the American International Toy Fair earlier this week.
