The winter holiday season officially kicks off November 5 at the Walt Disney World Resort with the first lighting of Cinderella Castle.
Queen Elsa will be using her Frozen powers to turn the castle into a glittering ice palace – which is actually decked out in 200,000 shimmering lights. Each night through December guests will also have a chance to enjoy the Castle Dream Lights celebration and A Frozen Holiday Wish stage show.
Once the Halloween pumpkins come down Main Street U.S.A. will be decked out with wreaths, garland, bows, sparkling lights, and Christmas trees. Special events include Holiday Wishes fireworks, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and Mickey’s Once Upon a Time Christmas Parade.
