An all-new holiday themed version of ‘World of Color’ is set to debut next month at Disney California Adventure.
‘World of Color – Winter Dreams’ is hosted by Olaf the snowman from Walt Disney Pictures upcoming animated featured Frozen, and debuts on November 15. The show combines new animation with winter scenes from Bambi, Fantasia, and Toy Story, in addition to new special effects using the stage of water, color, and lights on which the show is presented.
“I am so excited to be bringing new magic to ‘World of Color’ this holiday season,” said Steve Davison, creative director of the original ‘World of Color’ show. “The brand-new show is filled with great music, new effects and, of course, all the magnificence of the ‘World of Color’ fountain and projection system. It’s going to be a very powerful and amazing experience for guests of all ages.”
Other holiday offerings at the Disneyland Resort include ‘A Christmas Fantasy’ parade, Sleeping Beauty’s winter castle, ‘it’s a small world’ Holiday, and the ‘Believe…in Holiday Magic’ fireworks.
Disney California Adventure is celebrating the holidays with special holiday décor in Cars Land, a bug’s land, Paradise Pier, and Buena Vista Street starting on November 12. New for 2013 is the ‘Disney ¡Viva Navidad!’ celebration at Paradise Gardens opening on November 15 and running through January 6.
