Sources say that Gleestar Chris Colfer is branching out, and is currently at work on a pilot for The Disney Channel. Entitled The Little Leftover Witch,and based on the children’s book by Florence Laughlin, it tells the story of a witch who is taken in by a well-meaning family after her broom breaks after a crash landing.
The pilot has already been picked up by Disney, but a shooting schedule and debut date haven’t been determined. Stay tuned to DisZine – we’ll update you about the status of this Disney pilot when we have more information.
