The Oscars are this Sunday, February 26, on ABC and from now until that day guests can get up close and personal with a real Academy Award at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The Oscar® statuette is located at One Man’s Dream in the Studios.
Guests can walk the red carpet and have their photo taken with the statuette during regular park hours.
Disney is nominated in several categories this year for films including Zootopia and Moana which were both nominated for Best Animated Film. Other nominations include Rogue One: A Star Wars Story for Sound Mixing, Doctor Strange, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and The Jungle Book for Visual Effects, and “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana was nominated for Best Original Song.
This year’s Oscars are hosted by ABC late night host Jimmy Kimmel. The show airs Sunday – Oscar Sunday – starting at 7 p.m. ET on ABC.
