It might be the dog days of summer, but some folks are already thinking about their holiday vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort.
This year the holidays at Disney World will include fan favorites and some new experiences across the theme parks, hotels, and Disney Springs.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios guests can once again enjoy Sunset Seasons Greetings which will transform Hollywood Boulevard and the Hollywood Tower Hotel. The Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! nighttime show is also returning to the park.
And, Toy Story Land will be part of the festivities this year too with holiday music being featured on Alien Swirling Saucers.
At the Magic Kingdom you can celebrate the holidays at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on select nights in November and December. Tickets for the party are on sale now.
Epcot’s holiday festivities include the Festival of the Holiday with its Holiday Kitchens, the Candlelight Processional, and a special finale at the end of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is adding something new this year – Diwali, the holiday Festival of Lights in India, will be included as part of the new live show UP! A Great Bird Adventure.
Disney Springs is once again hosting the Christmas Tree Trail, and you’ll also find the gingerbread displays at several of the Resort Hotels. And, there are two special New Year’s Eve parties at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
