In May, we told you about Disney’s plans to produce a film adaptation of Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s novel Peter and the Starcatchers, which delves into the back story of beloved character Peter Pan.
Now, Disney has hired Hunger Games director Gary Ross to helm the adaptation. After dropping out of the Hunger Games franchise, Ross has been eying several projects but it looks like he’s finally settled on Disney’s movie.
There has been no word yet on when production will start, but we will be sure to keep you updated when we know more.
