Disney is celebrating Friday the 13th this month with some of the best villains during the Unleash the Villains Limited Time Magic event. And the magic is happening on both coasts.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Park will remain open until 1 a.m. – the 13th hour – on Friday the 13.
In the “dead center” of Disney’s Hollywood Studios there will be a dance party hosted by Hades at Hades’ Hangout. The villain from Hercules will be on hand, as will some of his henchmen.
There will also be dancer, a DJ, and a band to keep guests dancing past midnight. Guests can also meet Hades’ 13 henchmen in the Villain Encounters area. Before midnight arrives guests will be treated to the ‘Villainy in the Sky’ fireworks display.
Out in Disneyland, Town Square will be transformed into party central with villains including the Queen of Hearts, Captain Hook, Judge Frollo, and Lady Tremaine. The spooky décor will include cobwebs, Halloween-themed projections, and an eerie fog. The dance party guest list includes witches and warlocks who will be spinning not-so-scary Halloween tunes and Disney Top 40 hits to keep guests dancing into the 13th hour.
The party continues into New Orleans Square Train Station where more villains will be waiting to start the Unleash the Villains Dance Party. The master DJ will be announcing the arrival of Disney villains at the 13th minute of each hour.
This Limited Time Magic event happens only from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m. local time on Friday, September 13.
