On Wednesday last week, four people were injured when a wagon broke off of the Disneyland Railroad attraction at Disneyland Paris.
All four visitors, including a young girl and a pregnant woman, were taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. Those who were injured were released from the hospital the same night and either went home or returned to the theme park.
The incident occurred when a bolt that sat between the first and second wagons of the railroad snapped, causing the rear wagons to run into the other wagons when they came into the terminal.
A Disneyland Paris spokesperson said that accident was very minor, and it was only “a small nudge.” He also said that the train was moving very slowly.
At the time of the accident, there were about 40 people on the Disneyland Railroad attraction.
