Last month we reported on the arrival of the food trucks at Downtown Disney, and today we have more deliciously exciting details to share.
The food trucks are arriving in early November and will be open Wednesday through Sunday while parked at Downtown Disney West Side near House of Blues and Cirque du Soleil.
The four trucks – Superstar Catering, Namaste Café, Fantasy Fare, and World of Showcase Flavors – will each be serving their own distinctive dishes, including some inspired by Disney Parks around the world.
The Superstar Catering truck will be serving up a variety of meatballs including a turkey and sausage meatball, a lamb meatball flatbread, and a meatball slider for kids. The truck bills itself as the “Favorite of the Stars of Disney’s Hollywood Studios” and is a stainless steel truck with tan, orange, and teal accents reminiscent of an Art Deco diner.
Guests looking for “Tasty Explorations from Disney’s Animal Kingdom” can stop by the Namaste Café for butter chicken, beef short ribs, and tandoori spiced shrimp. All dishes will be served with basmati rice, naan, and pickled vegetables. The design of the truck is inspired by the colors and textures of Asia at the Animal Kingdom.
One of the most anticipated food trucks is the Fantasy Fare truck featuring “Delightful Dishes from Disney’s Magic Kingdoms Around the World” including the famous corn dogs from the Disneyland Resort. The truck will also be serving a glass noodle chicken salad from Hong Kong Disneyland and the Croque Monsieur from the Magic Kingdom.
And fans of Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival can find some of their favorite eats at the World Showcase of Flavors truck which is serving the “The Best” items from the festival including lobster rolls, grass-fed beef sliders, and pierogies and kielbasa.
