Who does entertainment better than Disney? And the shows themselves may as well have a nice place to call home, too.
They’ll have just that when the Disney Dream welcomes her first guests aboard next month from her home port of Canaveral, Florida.
The brand new ship features two opulent theatres. The Walt Disney Theatre, pictured here, honors the company’s founder in grand style. Accessible from decks 3 and 4, the venue seats 1,340 guests. At night, the Walt Disney Theatre will present exclusive Broadway-style shows. During the day, guests will have the chance to catch first-run movies there.
On decks 4 and 5, guests will find the more intimate, yet equally spectacular, Buena Vista Theatre. Seating 399 guests, the cinema, decorated in the Art Deco style, will also feature first-run films.
Both theatres offer the latest technology available, and guests will even enjoy some features in Disney Digital 3D.
By the way, the Disney Dream has officially left Germany and is making her transatlantic crossing as I write. Though expected to make a few stops on her way, she will be to her new home in Florida soon.
