While Walt Disney World guests are already enjoying the brand-new Storybook Circus in the Magic Kingdom, this new area still has a few new features in store for guests, including the much-anticipated interactive queue for Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Today, the Disney Parks Blog gave a sneak peek at what guests can expect from this innovative area, which will completely transform the guest experience of waiting for an attraction.
In this new interactive queue area, guests will not wait in a traditional line; rather, riders will be given a circus ticket pager upon entering the Big Top Tent, which will hold their place in line and notify them when it’s their turn to board the attraction. While they wait, guests can enjoy a variety of circus-themed play experiences in the Tent, becoming “part of the show” as Dumbo flies above them.
This exciting new queue area will make its debut at the Magic Kingdom this July. Are you excited for this new way of waiting for an attraction? Leave a comment and let us know.
