February might have the distinction of being the shortest month, but there’s no shortage of great merchandise events at the Walt Disney World resort this month.
This weekend representatives from Rinse Bath and Body Co will be at Port of Entry in Epcot from February 7-9, showcasing the latest in skin care and scented soaps.
February 8 is the launch day of the Pop of Minnie collection from Beautifully Disney at Tren-D in the Downtown Disney Marketplace. Guests can get a “Minnie” makeover from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Over at the Animal Kingdom on February 8, guests can take a walk on the wild side as artist Rosemary Begley will be showcasing her latest artwork inspired by Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Fans can meet Rosemary at Disney Outfitters on Discovery Island from 1-3 p.m.
Artist Greg McCullough is showcasing his work at the Art of Disney in Epcot from February 12-16 and at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney Marketplace from February 26-March 2.
Guests looking for that perfect Valentine’s Day gift for the doll collector in their life should stop by Once Upon a Toy in Downtown Disney on February 13 and 14, as Precious Moments Doll Maker Linda Rick will be on hand showcasing her Valentine’s Day collection.
Artist Larry Dotson is scheduled to appear at the Main Street Cinema in the Magic Kingdom on February 13-17, and David E. Doss is appearing at Art of Disney in Downtown Disney from February 14-21.
Guests can celebrate Valentine’s Day with designer Petra Azar at Tren-D on February 14 and 15 with a special trunk show featuring necklaces, earrings, and more.
Perhaps the biggest event happens February 22 when the Art of Disney celebrates the release of Steampunk art and collectibles inspired by Disney attractions, cons, and innovations. Fans can meet Disney Design Group artists Costa Alavezos, Alex Maher, and Mike Sullivan from 2-5 p.m.
