If you are a sports enthusiast, circle March 3-6 on your calendar. You do NOT want to miss Disney’s ESPN The Weekend at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, because there is something here for everyone!
The four-day event, which is sponsored by Dick’s Sporting Goods, will feature more than 35 sports celebrities, including both athletes and ESPN notables. Some of the events include ESPN live telecasts and radio broadcasts, an interactive Sports Zone where you can test your skills (maybe even against a star athlete!), daily motorcades featuring your favorite players, and even celebrity game shows and fan Q&A opportunities!
As for famous names, you can look forward to seeing athletes from every corner of the sports world: legendary baseball player Cal Ripken, Jr., personalities from the world of football like NY Jets’ LaDainian Tomlinson, Cardinals’ Larry Fitzgerald and the Cincinnati Bengals’ Chad Ochocinco, as well as the University of Florida Gators’ former head football coach, Urban Meyer; NBA legends Karl Malone and Julius “Dr. J” Erving; and soccer superstar Mia Hamm.
