The holiday season kicks off later this month at Epcot when the annual Holidays Around the World begins.
This year’s event features several new experiences in addition to special holiday foods in World Showcase.
Guests visiting the Mexico pavilion will have a chance to enjoy the Fiesta de Navidad which features dancers and mariachis showcasing Mexican holiday customs. In Morocco a storyteller will be sharing traditions and celebrations from that country. And in the China pavilion guests can watch the Chinese Lion Dance.
The American Adventure pavilion is home to the Sugar and Spice Bakery this year where guests can pick up gingerbread cookies and peppermint bark. Over in France Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie will be offering the Bouche de Noel au Chocolate – also known as the Chocolate Christmas Log – and L’artisan des Glaces is serving gingerbread ice cream.
The popcorn cart located near the Canada pavilion is selling pecan maple bark, while the wine cart near Germany is offering Gluhwein, a hot spiced wine.
Our friends at the Disney Food Blog have more information on all the food and drink offerings at Holidays Around the World.
Holidays Around the World begins November 28 and runs through December 29.
