The 2014 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is officially open and guests will be treated to new floral displays, great food, and more.
The topiaries for this year’s festival include Mater’s Parts, Plants & Play Garden, Classic Disney Couples, Beauty & the Beast, Mike & Sulley’s Monstrous Garden, and Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto.
There is also a topiary featuring Kermit the Frog and his true love Miss Piggy between the Italy and Germany pavilions. The display was inspired by the new movie Muppets Most Wanted.
This year marks the return of the popular Outdoor Kitchens. There are 11 booths this year where guests can dine on spring-inspired menu items. Our friends at the Disney Food Blog have a report on the full menus for the Flower & Garden Festival.
This Friday, March 7, marks the start of the Flower Power Concert Series with The Guess Who. Other acts for this year include Gary Lewis and the Playboys and The Alan Parsons Live Project. Flower Power Concert performances take place Friday through Sunday at 5:30, 6:45, and 8 p.m.
