The Earth Day celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort kicks off April 17 and runs through April 22 at Epcot.
At Epcot the 2015 Flower and Garden Festival is still in full bloom and three of the specialty gardens were created to help kids and families connect with nature.
Those gardens are the Nature Rocks Garden presented by The Nature Conservancy, the Backyard Habitat presented by the National Wildlife Federation, and the Purple Martins presented by Audubon Florida.
From April 17-19 specialists from Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be on hand at the Festival Center but there’s no word yet on what time they’ll be there.
And on April 22 guests at the Seas with Nemo & Friends can learn about conservation efforts protecting coral reefs, sea turtles, sharks, and more.
There’s also a special sand sculpture at the World Showcase Outpost dedicated to Disneynature’s new film Monkey Kingdom which opens April 17.
