Disney has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with Jane Goodall, noted primatologist and conservationist. And in February, Goodall returns to Disney for a very special weekend fundraising event.
Goodall will host Walt Disney World Safari VIP Weekend, which will take place February 18-21. And while reservations for the weekend do not come cheap – price per adult is $8500, and price for a child to attend is $7500 – the event is actually a fundraiser for the Jane Goodall Institute, which “empowers people to make a difference for all living things.” The weekend includes an amazing array of activities and interaction with Goodall, including:
- A campfire meet and greet with Goodall, complete with stories and treats;
- Breakfast with Goodall and your favorite Disney characters at Jiko; and
- Dinner and a private performance of Festival of the Lion King.
Also included in the VIP Safari weekend is three nights’ lodging in a savannah-view room at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, select meals, three-day park hopper tickets for all four Walt Disney World Parks, and transportation around the ‘World, as well as to and from Orlando International Airport.
Space is extremely limited for this extraordinary opportunity. To learn more, please visit Jane Goodall’s website. What an awesome opportunity to support a worthy cause, meet a humanitarian – and see Animal Kingdom like you’ve never seen it before.
