For the second annual California Avocado Week, Downtown Disney in Disneyland Resort and the California Avocado Commission have teamed up to present this fun event to the masses.
The fun kicks off July 1 and will run until July 7, with each day bringing a new culinary creation from various Downtown Disney chefs. The star ingredient in these culinary masterpieces? Avocados, of course! At the end of each cooking demo, attendees will be invited to taste the featured dish.
After the cooking demos, select guests will be invited to partake in a “Guac Off” to create their own signature guacamole recipe using a variety of ingredients. Daily grand prize winners will receive a $100 gift card to spend at Downtown Disney and an $85 California avocado gift pack. During the week, attendees will also be able to sample some delightful avocado dishes at restaurants in Downtown Disney or indulge in a refreshing avocado facial at the Sephora store.
All of the events are free to the public and will begin at 5 p.m. on July 1.
