Disney Channel has announced a new programming event featuring Doc McStuffins.
The all-new Doc McStuffins: School of Medicine event features back-to-back episodes of Doc McStuffins along with interstitials with real health professional from the fields of medicine, emergency response, and dentistry.
The School of Medicine programming special airs Monday, September 22 through Friday, September 26 from 9-10 a.m. each day.
Each of the medical professionals highlighted will have a specialty that mirrors Doc’s from that day’s episode.
Two members of the Artemis Medical School – both women physicians of color who formed their group after connecting over Doc McStuffins – will be featured in the interstitials. Dr. Letitia Bradford is an orthopedic surgeon from California and Dr. Angela U. Tucker is a family medicine doctor from Columbus, Ohio.
Other professionals featured include: Dr. David Kang, a dentist; Billy Kenny, a nurse practitioner; and Christian Sequeira, an Emergency Medical Technician.
