Next Friday, April 22, is Earth Day and Disney’s Animal Kingdom is celebrating with its Party for the Planet presented by Disneynature.
Guests visiting the theme park on Earth Day will have a chance to enjoy fun activities in each land in the park. Guests can also meet animal-care team members, animal educators, and conservation experts at the park.
Walt Disney Imagineer and Portfolio Creative Executive Joe Rohde will also be at the Animal Kingdom on Earth Day. Joe will be signing his artwork that was created for the new Disney Conservation Fund initiative.
A new coffee table book – The Disney Conservation Fund: Carrying Forward A Conservation Legacy – will also be available and Joe will sign copies of it for guests.
The meet-and-greet with Joe Rohde takes place from 1-2 p.m. on April 22 at the Discovery Trading Company.
Guests visiting the Animal Kingdom on Earth Day can also stop by the Oasis to see The Jungle Book sand sculpture.
