Disney’s Animal Kingdom is celebrating Earth Day 2015 with the Party for the Planet on April 22.
The party includes two special research stations – one at Rafiki’s Planet Watch and the other at the main entrance to the Animal Kingdom.
These research stations will give guests a chance to experience behind-the-scenes footage from Disneynature’s Monkey Kingdom in addition to exploring how technology is used in conservation efforts.
Other Party for the Planet offerings include interactive activities, limited-time merchandise for Earth Day, and a chance to meet animal and education experts from Disney’s Animals, Science, and Environment and the Disney Conservation Fund.
Guests who visit Rafiki’s Planet Watch during the next few weeks will have a chance to learn about the conservation efforts by the Disney Conservation Fund and the nonprofits supported by the Fund. There’s also a new gallery showcasing the programs.
The Party for the Planet takes place April 22 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
