Disneyland Resort will be holding a merchandise showcase on Tuesday, giving annual passholders the chance to buy new merchandise to commemorate the makeover of Disney California Adventure before the general public can.
The event will start at 10 a.m. and run until 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday in Stage 17, a special events building located in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot area. During the event, passholders will be able to get a sneak peek before the official unveiling of the park’s 5 year renovation, which will open June 15.
In addition to purchasing new merchandise before anyone else, passholders will be able to try the new flavored popcorn that will be sold at Cars Land and frozen drinks that will be served at Mad T Party, a new nighttime entertainment show. Guests will also be able to pose for photos with Cars characters and check out the costumes for employees in the new themed areas of the park.
The products sold will range in price from $7.95 to $380, and won’t be sold again until June 15. Normally, these showcases are held only for Disney employees – but now, Disneyland Resort has opened the event to annual passholders. Passholders can begin lining up as early as 6 a.m., and cast members will begin handing out wristbands at 7 a.m. designating when passholders may enter the venue.
