At a special breakfast event last week, The Hollywood Reporter announced that Disney/ABC Television’s president, Anne Sweeney, topped their list of the most powerful 100 women in the entertainment industry.
The invitation-only event, held at the Beverly Hills Hotel, was hosted by CBS News anchor Katie Couric. Actress Halle Berry also presented fellow actress Helen Mirren with the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at the ceremony, which was attended by 600 guests, including almost all of the women honored on the “Power 100” list.
