The popular Disney XD sitcom Pair of Kings will be renewed for a third season, sources say. In fact, production on the hit show will resume shortly, and introduce a new character – actor Adam Hicks, from Lemonade Mouth and Zeke and Luther.
Hicks’s character will be a long-lost brother, adding to the already strange story of the island of Kinkow, which the sitcom revolves around. However, Mitchel Musso’s character Brady will not be returning to the show.
During the announcement, Adam Bonnett, Senior Vice President, Original Series, Disney Channels Worldwide said:
Adam’s comedic talent will add a new dimension to an already successful series and we’re eager to introduce the new character to our viewers. Mitchel is a part of our family and for him, it will always be about versatility and doing different things on an artistic level. We have tremendous respect for his talent and we thank him for his contribution to the series.
For Musso’s part, he wishes “the cast, producers and crew nothing but success on the next season of Pair of Kings.”
