Disney XD has ordered a second season of two popular Marvel-themed series.
Both Marvel’s Avengers Assemble and Marvel’s Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H were renewed for a second season according to Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television. The announcement was made at San Diego Comic-Con.
In the second season of Marvel’s Avengers Assemble the super heroes will be battling the threat of cosmic warlord Thanos. The Avengers will unite and wield their powers in their greatest battle yet.
The voice talent for Marvel’s Avengers Assemble includes: Adrian Pasdar (Heroes) as Iron Man, Fred Tatasciore (Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness) as Hulk, Roger Craig Smith (Wreck-It Ralph) as Captain America, Travis Willingham (Shelf Life) as Thor, Troy Baker (Ultimate Spider-Man) as Hawkeye, Laura Bailey (The Super Hero Squad Show) as Black Widow and Bumper Robinson (The Game) as Falcon.
Hulk continues to lead his team in Marvel’s Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.’s second season. In this season’s “Planet Hulk” episode Hulk and his team find themselves setting the course for a cosmic catastrophe that will change everything.
Marvel’s Avengers Assemble is Disney XD’s number one animated series in total viewers.
The shows are currently in production and are scheduled to premiere this fall on Disney XD.
