Disney Channel and Disney XD recently announced a second nationwide search for young actors for upcoming Disney series and movies for the networks.
This open casting call is scheduled for Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22 in Wilmington, North Carolina. The search is part of Disney’s ongoing initiative to cast diverse young actors on the networks.
“We received an incredible response to our recent open call audition and want to give even more kids and tweens the opportunity to be seen by a professional casting director with this second open call,” said Judy Taylor, senior vice president, Casting and Talent Relations, Disney Channels Worldwide. “We look forward to seeing even more young talented actors eager to demonstrate their ability and helping make their dreams come true.”
Aspiring actors and actresses with last names beginning with A-M can attend the open casting call audition from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on September 21, while those with last names beginning with N-Z may attend on September 22 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The open casting call will take place at the Wilmington North Carolina Convention Center.
Those auditioning will be given an application and monologue upon arrival, and all minor must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The open casting call does not guarantee employment, and no fees will be charged to audition. For more information visit DisneyChannel.com/talentsearch.
