DQE, a global entertainment company, has sold The Jungle Book animated series to Disney XD. The new series will premiere during their summer lineup.
The series follows the man cub Mowgli who has been raised in the jungles by wolves since birth. All of your favorite characters will appear in the animated series including Baloo the bear, Bagheera, Mowgli’s panther friend and the rock python Kaa. Ultimately they band together to take on the evil Shere Khan.

The Jungle Book series will premiere on Disney XD June 11, 2012.
