Disney fans were excited to hear the news a few months ago that Disney Parks were introducing a monthly payment option for online purchases of annual passes to the Florida and California parks.
The terms of this option have just been extended in Florida, allowing the monthly payment plan for Florida residents who are purchasing or renewing annual passes in person.
The monthly payment option has been extremely successful since its launch in Anaheim’s Disneyland Resort in December 2008, bringing in record numbers of annual passholder purchases. Disney execs are hoping it will further increase annual passholder sign-ups in Florida as well.
The strategy has long been in place at rival parks Universal Orlando and SeaWorld Orlando.
