Epcot’s Via Napoli celebrated its official opening in Disney World’s Epcot today!
The restaurant — a second table-service location for Epcot’s Italy pavilion and one of two brand new restaurants opening this Fall in Epcot — focuses on Neapolitan pizza and other authentic Italian dishes. Run by the Patina Group, a restaurant company who also runs Via Napoli sister restaurants in New York City and Disneyland, Via Napoli strives to provide authentic pizza by importing sauce and cheese…and even water! The water used in the restaurant’s pizza dough is imported from a locale where water has similar chemical compounds to that in Naples, Italy.
Guests have been sampling Via Napoli all week, and while the reviews have been positive, many are still unsure about the high pricing in the restaurant. (See a full menu with pricing here: Via Napoli Menu.)
Via Napoli officially opened today, but will be in a “walk-up only” phase for guests until September 10th while the restaurant tests and tweaks. September 10th will be the grand opening celebration, after which the restaurant will honor advanced dining reservations for guests.
