The Disney Wonder will become the first Disney Cruise Line vessel to stop in San Diego – just in time for the 2012-2013 “pleasure cruise” season.
Over the next month, the 2,700 passenger ship will make four visits to San Diego from Los Angeles, as it picks up and drops off passengers for the Disney/Pixar themed cruises. The marching band from San Diego State University will be on hand to greet passengers, while San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders will exchange plaques with the captain.
Hopefully, the debut of the Disney Wonder in San Diego will bolster the city’s failing cruise business. What do you think about this news?
